Ferrosan Medical Devices develops and produces a portfolio of medical devices used in surgical care. Their portfolio consists of various hemostatic products to minimize bleeding challenges in surgery and electromechanical medical devices to perform breast biopsies. This is an international medical device organization with products registered in more than 100 countries.
Your daily workplace will be at the headquarter in Søborg, Denmark. The company employs 250 professionals in Denmark and 100 in Szczecin, Poland.
Make your mark as Utility Process Owner
Ferrosan Medical Devices is currently investing many resources in their headquarter site in Søborg. So far this has resulted in building a state-of-the-art new factory and updating the utilities, so that daily operations continue to be both energy-efficient and compliant with regulations. The ambition going forward for the Utility area is to be even more robust by raising the level of compliance through updated and renewed processes.
As a result of the investments and renewed ambitions, Ferrosan Medical Devices is now looking to strengthen their department for Technical Support & Utilities by hiring a Utility Owner, who can help take responsibility for the Utility manufacturing processes in the new facility in Søborg.
The role:
As Process Owner for Utilities your area of responsibility will be Purified Water (PW), Water for injection (WFI), and clean steam. After a thorough introduction by your new Process Owner colleague, you will oversee the new factory and be involved in several exciting projects such as gas conversion - from gas to use of more sustainable energy sources. During these energy optimization projects, you help make energy calculations, prepare the technical drawings (in CAD), make the necessary risk assessments and qualify/validate the utilities.
Daily operations as Utility Process Owner also include review of change requests, deviations and support related tasks e.g., when onsite specialists and technicians need a helping hand during troubleshooting in critical situations.
Lastly, you will also make your mark on the ongoing development of new processes to ensure robustness and a high level of compliance.
Your new team consist of 5 highly skilled colleagues, who enjoy helping each other and share their knowledge in an informal atmosphere.
About you
First and foremost, it is vital that you are a true team player and a great colleague. You have a relevant technical education, preferably supplemented with Utility Process Owner- or similar experience from pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry. Experience with CAD is a plus as well. You can communicate on different levels and express yourself in written and spoken Danish and English.
